The Masterpiece Within

Every moment life provides us, we have the choice to grow stronger or weaker. Choosing to stand and face life's adversities is similar to a forest withstanding the tiresome wind, rain and cool evenings preceding the fall season. Without the right climate conditions, autumn's colorful leaves, which paint one of nature's most beautiful masterpieces would not occur. Our lives can also become vibrant masterpieces due to the strength we gain from the rainy seasons of life. It's not the absence of obstacles we need to strive for, but instead the perseverance and skills to overcome and grow from them. Every person on this planet has the potential to create a life as vibrant as a tree full of colorful fall leaves and just as breathtaking and inspirational as Michelangelo's statue of "The David."

   Teaming Up

Having met through Claudia’s music, Guy and Claudia began a friendship, which came to reveal a parallel passion to create a life instruction manual that would aid others in living up to their full potential.

Together Guy and Claudia bring a well-balanced masculine and feminine perspective to their writing and speaking engagements using story telling, real-life examples, pop culture references, and everyday language to connect with readers and audience members.

Whether or not our lives tell an intriguing and inspiring story lies in the hands of each and every one of us. Creating an adventurous and

meaningful life story is oftentimes difficult because of the layers upon layers of self-defeating personal beliefs we accumulate through our

life experiences.

Using the story behind the creation of Michelangelo’s sculpting masterpiece, The David, as a metaphor THE MASTERPIECE WITHIN teaches

there is a masterpiece as breath-taking as the Mona Lisa or the David waiting to be discovered in all of us. The same as Michelangelo could

envision his finished masterpiece beneath the flawed, discarded block of marble before he even put chisel to stone.

When we embrace and apply key life skills we chip away layers of discouragement, fear, anger, childishness, shame, low self-esteem, guilt,

and numerous other learned traits that blind us to our own innate beauty.
